No stranger to hard work and challenges, the Founder of Purse Strings LLC, Dr. Barbara Provost, has leveraged her strong experience, active research, and continuous data gathering activities, to solve a problem. Barbara found that women are consistently overlooked by financial organizations, to the tune of leaving a possible 22-trillion dollars of untapped sales on the table.
Not only is this buying power being ignored for lack of tailoring to women, but this powerful demographic is also underserved and under-planned for their financial future. With that sole purpose in mind, Barbara leveraged her years of business consulting and expertise in adult learning which resulted in what financial institutions need to reach and engage women, creating the first empowerment, education, and training tool to earn the vast spending power of the female dollar.
Purse Strings help women become financially fearless by learning what they need to know to make the right financial decisions for themselves and their families. Moreover, Purse Strings provides a cadre of financial professionals who have been trained and vetted to provide the right products and the unique service women want.

Lauren cares deeply for her clients and enjoys providing comprehensive financial plans to guide them to their goals. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with more than 15 years’ experience as a financial advisor, after having earned her master’s degree in industrial/ organizational psychology. Lauren lives in Libertyville, Illinois, with her husband, Eric and their four children – Blake, Aubreigh, Adelaide, and Amelia. Most recently, they welcomed Oliver, a goldendoodle puppy, to complete their family. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys jiu jitsu, stand-up paddleboarding, ice-skating, reading, and volunteering at her children’s school.

Linda Grizely is a Money Mindset Mentor, Financial Planner, and Motivational Speaker. She thrives on inspiring and empowering people and is known for her ability to connect, gracefully hold space for others, and foster an atmosphere where people feel seen and heard.
Linda founded an online course called the Money Mindset Mastery Cohort where she helps people recognize and overcome their limiting beliefs and self-imposed barriers. It’s a transformational journey. One where a lot of introspection takes place around their money mindset and developing a positive, healthy relationship with money. She aims to equip them with the confidence to take control of their financial futures and achieve financial freedom and success.
