Dr. Rachel Miller
The Pilates PT
Dr. Rachel Miller is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified Pilates instructor, and founder of The Pilates PT. She graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University and then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2004. She is passionate about educating and is a professional mentor and certified Clinical Instructor. Her strengths include looking at the body holistically and combining Pilates wtih Physical Therapy. She has developed and taught courses such as for rehab and fitness professionals such as Pilates Anatomy and Activation, Core and Pelvic Floor, and Pilates for Rehabilitation.
After becoming a Mom, she realized the lack of postpartum education and the need for better care for new (and not so new) moms. Her continuing education has focused on manual therapy of the pelvis and spine, Diastasis Recti, and pelvic floor Physical Therapy. She is a certified Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercise specialist, and co-authored an online pre/postnatal certification for fitness instructors.
Dr. Ashley Davis
Acupuncture Integrative Medicine
Dr. Ashley Davis, LAc, DACM, DiplOM is a doctor of acupuncture and national board-certified herbalist. She is the co-founder of Novana Naturals, an all-natural, plastic-free skincare line that is launching in July 2024. Based in Lincolnshire, Illinois, she combines her background in biomedical science and East Asian medicine to offer integrative care. Specializing in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and natural microneedling, she effectively treats conditions such as pain, women's health, autoimmune disorders, anxiety, depression, skin issues, and more.
Dr. Davis graduated magna cum laude with high distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in neuroscience and researched neurodegenerative diseases at a doctoral level at the University of Miami before shifting to her current career. She earned her doctorate from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and has co-authored multiple research articles on neuroscience. Her innovative approach brings patients holistic care without pharmaceutical side effects.
Meghan Scileppi, MA
Attachment Matters
Meghan believes empathy, personal honesty, and boundaries are essential to establish a healthy and supportive therapeutic relationships. Meghan's training and professional style enable the development of healthy emotional attachment relationships enhancing behavioral and the further development of emotional regulation tools to maintain a secure sense of personal and familial well-being.
Meghan came from a family of therapists, which has provided her a unique life long perspective, truly growing up in the science and support of a counseling community.
Meghan, in addition to founding Attachment Matters, also served as a therapist, Clinical Supervisor and the Clinical Director for over a decade with LifePlace Counseling. Meghan served on the board and was also a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota in recognition of scholastic and professional excellence.
